  Love the show, and incredibly useful since I am a Karate Nidan candidate and one of the requirements is to be able to demonstrate self-defense beyond straight kicking and punching.

  One other way of playing with Kata is to do it with a weapon in your hand. It is amazing how much your Kata and Buki-ho both improve.
