Nice podcast. What specific art are you teaching?
thanks!

Hi Alan,
Our base style is Shorin Ryu; an Okinawin form of Karate.
However, we present our ideas with as little influence from our specific art as possible in hopes that we will show more universal concepts.
I once had a conversation with Senior Master Instructor Chris Thomas (Kyusho Jitsu Kenkyukai, Ryu Kyu Kempo, Isshin Ryu) in which he pointed out that when you use form interpretation techniques such as those we present, style becomes less significant.
Our hope is these ideas will strike a chord with everyone in their individual styles and bring fresh thinking to the classical martial arts.
Best Wishes,
Scot

Will you teach various styles like Shaolin Kungfu, Jui Jutsu, Wing Chun, or Tae Kwon Do? I would like to see some diversity of style, especially since I’m a Jeet Kune Do practitioner. I’ve actually studied, Shaolin Kungfu, Wing Chun and Jeet Kune Do.
